Photovoltaics: power and consumption in real time
Fondmetal, in addition to meeting various quality standards, certified by the most renowned bodies in the industry, is also environmentally conscious. In fact, Fondmetal wheels are produced with a percentage of clean energy generated by the photovoltaic system installed in December 2010 at its production site.

Zero discharge: water resource optimization and zero pollution
Fondmetal has equipped itself with a zero-discharge system for the total recovery of wastewater in the air-tightness control and painting processes, which has allowed total zero discharge as well as significant savings in water consumption.
Raw materials and the environment
Fondmetal in its production processes favors raw materials with low environmental impact:
- Aluminum used for casting processes has a low carbon footprint, down to a minimum of: 0.5kgCO2e/kg
- Paints used for color are water-based and do not use solvents ensuring a low level of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that are harmful to the environment.
