Product approval is obtained through ECE, NAD and ABE certifications, allowing Fondmetal S.p.A. to be a leader in light alloy wheel products for years.

Photovoltaics: power and consumption in real time
Fondmetal, in addition to meeting various quality standards, certified by the most renowned bodies in the industry, is also environmentally conscious. In fact, Fondmetal wheels are produced with a percentage of clean energy generated by the photovoltaic system installed in December 2010 at its production site.

Zero discharge: optimisation of water resources and zero pollution
Fondmetal has equipped itself with a zero-discharge system for the total recovery of waste water in the air leakage test area and in the painting processes. This has allowed the achievement zero discharge as well as a considerable saving in water consumption.

Materie prime e ambiente
Fondmetal in its production processes favors raw materials with low environmental impact:
- Aluminum used for casting processes has a low carbon footprint, down to a minimum of: 0.5kgCO2e/kg
- Paints used for color are water-based and do not use solvents ensuring a low level of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that are harmful to the environment.

"AL VIA" call for proposals: investing in technology
AL VIA is an initiative aimed at supporting new investments by SMEs, in order to relaunch the production system and facilitate the exit phase from the socio-economic crisis that has also affected the Lombardy territory, through the granting of a medium-long term loan, backed by a guarantee from the AL VIA Guarantee Fund and combined with a non-refundable capital grant.
